Hi, I’m Petra Tool, a professional Dutch painter who works with watercolor, often while traveling. I mostly paint people - and sometimes the places they belong to.
Over the years, I’ve portrayed people in places like Scotland, Iceland, Thailand and Greece - working from real encounters.
In March I’ll be in Ibiza.
I create small, personal, expressive watercolor portraits. I work fast, from real life or a short photo session, whatever suits you best. The bright colors, a few lines and lots of white space are just enough to capture your beautiful essence. Less is more.
